Section 5: Before Starting My Exam Answers
This section outlines essential steps to undertake before answering exam questions, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the question requirements and effective exam preparation. It emphasizes the importance of thorough question analysis, strategic time management, and memory aid utilization.
These principles are used for ALL subjects and ALL exams.
Students find it difficult to study and prepare for exams and often feel overwhelmed in getting started or simply knowing what to study. We take that anxiety away and make it easier for your child to cope and know how to tackle their exams.
This course aims to help students learn some effective study methods, how to break their time down according to what they need to study, and how much time they have. How to prepare themselves prior to an exam and most importantly, what to do during an exam. We also ensure that students understand exam questions by teaching them comprehension test questions techniques.
This course is facilitated by a qualified Home Education Specialist and Behavioural Specialist.

Research has found that students vary widely in what they know about how to learn, according to a team of educational researchers from Australia writing last year in the journal Instructional Science. Most striking, low-achieving students show “substantial deficits” in their awareness of the cognitive and metacognitive strategies that lead to effective learning—suggesting that these students’ struggles may be due in part to a gap in their knowledge about how learning works.
